Studienkollegs
The Studienkolleg is a one-year program that bridges the gap between your home country's secondary education and the academic standards required by German universities. The program aims to improve your German language skills, help you understand the German education system, and acquire subject-specific knowledge needed for university-level studies.
Malaysian students who have completed their SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia), UEC (Unified Examination Certificate), or equivalent secondary education can apply for a Studienkolleg by passing an entrance examination. Some but not all Studienkolleg require an entrance examination, which tests German language proficiency and subject knowledge. However, the specific eligibility criteria might vary depending on the student and the university.
